team

We are startup founders who angel and seed invest in early-stage startup founders. We understand the difficulties of company building at the toughest stage and we aim to create strong relationships with the teams we invest in and use our experience and operator expertise to help them build world-class companies.

While we take building companies seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Aaron Henshaw

I’m a startup founder and angel investor focused on frontier technology. I’ve built and exited multiple startups from the ground up, usually focused on building top tier technical teams and solutions. I've spent time on the leadership teams of two public companies through the acquisition of my startups. I’m interested in frontier tech, video games and basketball.

I'm a startup founder and angel investor in NYC. While helping get Uber off the ground in NYC, I met my cofounders at Bark in 2011. I left to build the world's leading dog brand, delivering over half a billion products to dogs across the globe. We took the company public in 2021 and shortly after, I stepped away from my operating role. I'm an early stage builder to my core, interested in digital and physical products, vertical AI applications, distribution and building teams that are customer obsessed.

I’m a multiple startup founder and angel investor in NYC. I’ve built, scaled, and exited two companies and spent time on the leadership teams of two public companies, Coinbase [COIN] and Etsy [ETSY]. I’m interested in economics, crypto, game theory, sociology, investing, and psychology. I have a knack for languages and in my free time I play a lot of sports, video games, and build motorcycles.

I'm an early-stage company operator and investor. My career began at Cambridge Associates, where I worked closely with major institutional allocators to shape their crypto and private market portfolios. I moved into the operator seat at Bison Trails, helped lead its acquisition by Coinbase, and stayed on to scale Coinbase Staking – working across sales / biz dev, product strategy, corp dev, strategic finance, and operations.

I’m happiest solving hard problems with great, highly technical teams. When I’m not working, you’ll find me playing tennis or chess, scuba/free diving, watching pizza reviews, or winning deals on Craigslist.
